SETC Reservation Cancellation



Both online and offline pre reserved bus tickets may cancelled and fare amount with some deductions returned to passenger. In case of offline cancellation, refund will be in the form of cash. In case of online reservation, refund will be transferred to the same account/card form which is used while reservation of ticket. Below are the refund amount rules of SETC reservation cancellation-

  • 10% amount will be deducted if reservation cancelled before 48 hours of departure time.
  • 20% amount will be deducted if reservation cancelled before 24 and after 48 hours of departure time.
  • 25% amount will be deducted if reservation cancelled before 30 minutes and after 24 hours of departure time.
  • 50% amount will be deducted if reservation cancelled within 30 minutes of departure time.

Refund Procedure:
  • If a reserved ticket cancelled by passenger, refund amount will be transferred to concerned credit card/debit card/bank account.
  • If ticket not reserved and amount deducted from passenger account, passenger need to contact commercial@tnstc.in with OB reference and user id for refund of amount. SETC check and transfer amount to passengers account.
  • If a bus service cancelled by SETC, passenger need to contact commercial@tnstc.in for refund with user id, OB reference number of transaction, PNT number.
  • Commonly passenger will get refunds in two weeks of cancellation.
